I currently work one day a week for the NHS-funded BreastStart service in Sefton. This has provided me with a wealth of experience of breastfeeding problems, solutions and ways of providing support.

If you live in Sefton you can receive support for free from BreastStart, alongside the many volunteer-run breastfeeding groups, but you may wish to access a more personal one-to-one service. As a postnatal doula I can support you during your breastfeeding journey. This could be in the shape of a series of visits over the first few weeks and months of your baby's life, or individual visits whenever you feel you need them.
